In Mrs, Sanya plays Richa, a young woman who strives to keep her dreams of becoming a dancer alive while navigating the weight of traditional household duties. The film delves into the everyday struggles women face, particularly the pressure of societal expectations and gender inequality.

Sanya’s portrayal of Richa is a true testament to her acting range. Speaking about her character, she shared, “My character’s journey is one of quiet resilience, as she goes from doing the dishes to dreaming big again. It’s been a rewarding challenge to play someone who dares to break free from the routine and find her voice.”

Directed by Aarti Kadav, the drama stars Sanya alongside Kanwaljit Singh and Nishant Dahiya. The film – which is an official remake of Malayalam drama film The Great Indian Kitchen, will release directly on ZEE5 on February 7, 2025.

As always, Sanya infuses her role with a perfect mix of warmth, charm, and deep emotional strength. Looking ahead, Sanya is set to star in Dharma Productions’ Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Also her upcoming collaboration with Anurag Kashyap and Bobby Deol is also highly anticipated.
